Swami Debananda Ashram, Patuli (Burdwan)
This branch of Swami Debananda Ashram is situated at Pila, P.O- Patuli, Dist- Purba Bardhaman. The ashram was established in 2001. From Bardhaman to Patuli it is 80 Km by train via Katwa. One can also go by bus from Bardhaman to Dhatrigram, which is 58 km, and then another 34 km from Dhatrigram to Patuli by train. The ashram is 1.5 km from Patuli station. The ashram has a beautifully serene atmosphere with the river Ganga quietly flowing by it. Like all other branches of Swami Debananda Ashram, this branch is also headed by a saffron-clad monk. Regular spiritual programmes of the ashram include puja, prayer, meditation, naamgaan, and atmacharcha or self-analytical discussion. As discipline is the hallmark of Swami Debananda Ashram, like all other ashrams, here too every activity is time bound and is regulated by the tolling of bells. From time to time His Holiness, Swami Debananda Maharaj, visits this ashram and gives darshan to the devotees.
