Swami Debananda Ashram Vrindaban (Uttar Pradesh)
This branch of Swami Debananda Ashram was established in 2003 and inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Janmastami. It is situated at Deblok Colony, Vrindaban, Dist- Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Vrindavan is 182 Km from Delhi, and can either be reached by bus or by train to Mathura from where it is a short ride of 15 Km by trekker to the ashram. The ashram is placed in a quiet locality frequented by beautiful peacocks. This branch is a “matri-ashram,” or the abode of the nuns of Swami Debananda Ashram.
Like other branches, regular spiritual programmes of the ashram include puja, prayer, meditation, naamgaan, and atmacharcha or self-analytical discussion. As discipline is the hallmark of Swami Debananda Ashram, like all other ashrams, here too every activity is time bound and is regulated by the tolling of bells. From time to time His Holiness, Swami Debananda Maharaj, visits this ashram and gives darshan to the devotees.
